sarcophagus of the kingdom brings together international artists.
the exhibition showcases artists whose work shares a common characteristic
of story telling. the tale may be enigmatic, the narrative inconclusive,
the drama may not even have a protagonist, yet each work contains
a narrative, element familiar yet unsettling. the
exhibition, sarcophagus of the kingdom explores how artists present
a possible reality and characterisation of a subject in response
to the everyday. Sarcophagus of the Kingdom commemorates a fictional
realm where heroic icons have disappeared through mass culture today.
The selected artworks emancipate us from our objectified
language of everyday. artists involved.
